The National Capital Commission and the Canadian Navy chose Joost Bakker
and Bruce Haden (HBBH+CE) along with artist Al McWilliams for the team’s design
of a new naval monument at Richmond Landing, in the core of Canada’s Capital. An
internationally renowned jury unanimously selected the winning concept in a design
competition in October 2009. |
